Acceptable Use Policy
This is a translation for convenience. The Ukrainian version is the binding one.
PlainApply is for writing honest CVs and tracking real job searches. These rules keep it honest and working for everyone. They are part of the Terms of Service.
Do
- Use PlainApply for real job searching — yours, or someone else's with their permission: helping a friend, or working as a career coach or recruiter on a candidate's own CV. You pay for AI actions as everyone does.
- Keep your CV truthful. Review every AI suggestion before you use it.
Don't
- Fake credentials. Don't create CVs with invented jobs, degrees, certificates, employers or results, or use PlainApply to forge diplomas, references or other documents.
- Impersonate. Don't create CVs or accounts in someone else's name without their permission, or pretend to be PlainApply or an employer.
- Screen other people. Don't use PlainApply to assess, score, rank or filter candidates for hiring. It is a tool for applicants, not employers.
- Resell access. Don't sell, rent or share access to your account, or resell PlainApply's AI actions to others as your own service (for example through an API or a bot).
- Scrape or automate. Don't use bots, scripts or scrapers to access PlainApply, extract our content or prompts, or run AI actions outside the app's normal interface.
- Attack or overload. Don't probe for vulnerabilities, bypass limits or security, send malware, or overload the service. (Found a security issue? Please report it to support@plainapply.com — we're grateful.)
- Automate signups. Don't create accounts with scripts or in batches to get around free limits.
- Misuse AI. Don't send content to AI actions that isn't a CV, Vacancy or job-search text, or try to make the AI produce harmful or illegal content.
- Break the law. Don't upload illegal content, content that infringes someone else's rights, or other people's personal data without a lawful reason.
- Abuse payments. Don't use stolen cards, buy-and-refund schemes or fraudulent chargebacks.
What happens if a rule is broken
- We never block accounts automatically. Every decision is made by a person.
- Payment fraud: the account is blocked immediately.
- Other clear breaches: we write to you once with a warning. If it continues, the account is blocked.
- Even when blocked, you can export your data and get unused purchased Credits refunded (except Credits obtained by fraud).
- If you think we made a mistake, write to support@plainapply.com.
Reporting abuse
If you see PlainApply used to impersonate you or break these rules, write to support@plainapply.com.
